Chart notes
MY GOOD GOOD BOY showed good speed away from the start and assumed early command, set a pressured pace into the turn, led into upper stretch then shook free at the furlong marker, drew clear under moderate urging into the final sixteenth then was geared down late to win as much the best. MONARCHOS DREAM prominent away from the start, pressed the pace two wide and between runners into the turn, battled MY GOOD GOOD BOY into upper stretch, could not match strides with the winner past the furlong marker, was turned away into the final sixteenth but stayed on well late to best the rest. RONCHETTI tracked the pace from the inside, saved ground to the stretch, was outkicked into the final sixteenth, stayed on into deep stretch and outfinished BLINGO to earn the show honors. BLINGO pressed the early pace outside of runners, contested the pace three wide nearing the quarter pole, was outkicked into upper stretch, chased to the final sixteenth and was outfinished for the show. REAL PENNY allowed to settle in the early going, swung five to six wide into upper stretch, needed more in the lane and finished evenly. REINING PESOS tracked the early pace from the second flight, chased three to four wide and between rivals nearing the quarter pole and failed to threaten in the stretch drive. I'M A COOL CAT tracked the early pace three to four wide and from the second flight, lost position into the turn and was not a factor in the stretch. MR. BIG RIG lacked early speed, trailed to the quarter marker and did not make an impact in the stretch.
