Chart notes
STRONSINO was well rated along the inside, shifted out leaving the half mile marker and made a three to two wide move on the far turn, dueled for command outside of DERBYNESS by the quarter pole, made a bid to be clear by the furlong marker and drew off under three pops right handed with the crop to prove much the best. DERBYNESS tracked the early pace and made a early three wide bid to vie for command by the nine sixteenths, then took over and moved to the inside entering the far turn, then was headed by the winner and dueled with that rival but proved to be no match for that rival while staying on to be second best. COLLECTION DAY vied for the lead on the inside, then chased the pace on the far turn and eased off the inside to be four wide into the lane and weakened while clearly besting the rest. STRIKING SPARKS vied for the lead two wide on the first turn, then was in between rivals by the five furlong marker, chased the leaders three to four wide on the far turn and tired. BROTHER BRAD was off a step slow, four wide into the first turn, settled and was two wide on the far turn and never factored. PASSIONED chased the early pace, dropped to the inside on the far turn and stopped.
