Chart notes
UNSPOKEN REQUEST set the pace in the two path, kicked away down the backstretch, was cued passing the quarter, and dug in down the lane to hold sway. TOM COLLINS rated in the two path, was coaxed midway around the far turn, bumped with an outer foe passing the eighth pole, and ran on for place. SEBASTIANTHE FIRST laid in range in the three path, was ridden into the far turn, bumped with an inner foe passing the eighth pole, and finished evenly for show. RIGHT TO WIN (IRE) bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced off the pace in the three path, was roused midway around the far turn, angled out to the six path passing the eighth pole, and mildly gained. POURQUOI PAS tracked in the three path, was driven around the far turn, but made no impact in the five path down the lane. NOBLE HERO bumped with an inner foe and checked at the start, then always trailed around the two path. AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF SEBASTIANTHE FIRST AGAINST THE RIDER OF TOM COLLINS FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH WAS DISALLOWED AS THE STEWARDS FELT THAT TOM COLLINS MNAINTAINED HIS COURSE.
