Chart notes
KENNEBEC was allowed to settle early, rallied three-wide into the stretch, took the lead nearing the sixteenth pole and gradually drew clear despite drifting out in a track record setting performance. SALINE RIVER stumbled at the start then was reserved off the pace, rallied three-wide into the stretch and closed strongly. IRISH PROPHET was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch and rallied late. SARWAR (FR) stalked the pace while racing two-wide, angled out to be four-wide entering the stretch but lacked a rally when called upon. FEARLESS SOLDIER set the pace into the stretch and weakened during the late stages. ARMA D'ORO raced in the middle of the field, came two-wide into the stretch, steadied briefly while in tight leaving the eighth pole and failed to menace. WHAT A DUDE chased FEARLESS SOLDIER early racing along the inside ad tired.
