Chart notes
A THOUSAND MILES saved ground setting the pace under pressure from SAPELLO LA FINA, shook that one off entering the stretch to open a clear lead and increased her advantage to the wire. TWO BAR saved ground while being prominently place, angled out to be two-wide entering the stretch, was unable to reach the winner but finished well for second. POLYTHENE PAM was allowed to settle, swung out to be five-wide entering the stretch and finished in a mild rally. SAPELLO LA FINA prompted A THOUSAND MILES to near the stretch from along the outside and weakened during the drive. SAYUCAN was forwardly placed while racing four-wide on the first turn, continued to be three-wide down the backstretch then came four-wide into the stretch and lacked a response when asked. NOSTRI VIRES dropped back early and trailed.
