PETIT JEAN back off the pace and the inside, steadied then came out in some traffic into the turn to bother a couple of outer rivals, was righted, accelerated with a nice four wide move through the rest of the bend, brushed lightly with the runner up challenged and took over upper stretch, held the next two safe while drifting out in the late going. LADY RILEY broke back to be well off the pace early, advanced four then three wide through the turn, brushed slightly with the winner upper stretch when moving on the tiring leader with that one, outkicked to the wire late, all out to save the place. STHENIC lacked early foot off the inside, lacked room and steadied when beginning to advance far turn, regrouped, steered out five wide entering the stretch, closed with good resolve while angling in to finished willingly between the top two. NGALA lacked speed as well early on, bothered, steered out while steadying into the turn when the winner did the same, raced four wide through the rest of the bend, finished up evenly through the stretch in lacking a closing kick. CHIPOTLE PEPPER broke sharp, quickly sprinted clear, continued to hold a sizable advantage through the turn, briefly raced on equal terms with the top two when confronted by that pair with over a furlong to run then faltered when headed. CHUCK WILLS WIDOW broke a step slow, fell well back, fanned seven wide turning for home then improved position with a late run midtrack. FLY LIKE THE WIND in mid pack and toward the rail, came four wide out of the turn, lacked a closing response. GEORGIA ON E'SMIND off slowly, raced back and well wide early, bothered, carried out five wide early in the turn, came six wide for the drive, lacked closing kick. FINE BY DESIGN in the second flight early, in tight, steadied along the rail midway on the turn, faded. GOLDEN EDGE chased the early leader from the two path for three furlongs and gave way. SHESACINCH forwardly placed just after the start, began a steady retreat after a quarter. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REGARDING THE RUN INTO THE FAR TURN, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
