Chart notes
NO ORDINARY TIGER showed the way while remaining a path off of the inside, built a clear margin around the turn and widened under a drive. ROBARANDO broke inwardly, was slow to recover and spotted the rest multiple lengths early on, advanced along the inside around the turn and sustained progress to edge place in the final sixteenth. GRAN SENOR DEL ORO bumped with an outer rival leaving the gate, stalked along the inside, moved out to the three path before gaining place leaving the five sixteenths pole, proved no match for the leader while meeting an inner challenge for place in upper stretch, dueled for that position but was bested late. GOLDEN SERENADE chased in the five path and failed to menace. BLACKSOD BAY bumped with an inner foe at the start, chased in the three path and between horses, but took a bad step reaching the five sixteenths pole, faltered to trail shortly after, yet recovered stride to improve position in the final furlong. DUNVEGAN prompted outside of the eventual winner and from the four path, but faded around the turn.
