Chart notes
MEANT FOR ME showed the way in the three path as an outer rival vied, disposed of that one before an outer for bid entering the lane, sparred neck and neck and gamely held. LANSDOWNE (GB) leaned outwardly leaving the gate, pressed the top pair from the five path, bid and dueled through the lane but was fended off. HOT CHICKS ONLY tracked along the inside, took aim inside of the leaders in upper stretch but needed more. STONEVICIOUS trailed in the three to five path and moved up. MIDNIGHT FURY chased in the three path and lacked a bid. TOOL TIME vied for the lead in the four path but weakened between horses nearing the lane. SAN ANDRES refused at the start. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REVIEWING THE START RESULTED IN NO CHANGE TO THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
