VDAYTOTHETENACIOUS chased the pace two wide into the stretch, was carried out to the six path, responded readily when set down, was struck once with a left handed crop while making the lead nearing the furlong marker then widened with every stride to win as his rider pleased. RUN RED RUN away alertly, set the pace into the stretch, drifted to the five path path then was no match for the winner while well clear for second. KNOCK WOOD was bumped at the start, trailed down the backstretch then passed tiring rivals through the stretch near the inside. SOCIAL HISTORY failed to menace. CLEVELAND POWER was bumped at the start, stalked the pace three wide into the turn then dropped back. RAY'S EMPIRE drifted in bumping rivals at the start, raced four wide into the turn and was through after a half.
