Chart notes
BLISTER BUG sparred for the lead three to two wide and between horses, gamely sustained the long battle with his inner counterpart through the final furlong and prevailed via a head bob. POSETIVELY PERFECT bumped with an outer foe at the start, dueled for the lead inside of a trio of foes early on, then inside of a pair of rivals turning for home, gamely sustained the long battle with a single counterpart through the final furlong but missed the bob at the wire. CLOUD ANGEL tracked along the inside, shifted out four wide in midstretch, then rallied but ran out of ground to reel in the top pair late. BLAKE'S SONG brushed an inner foe leaving the gate, dueled four to three wide turning for home but faded at the furlong grounds. WILD SUN FLOWER was brushed by an outer foe at the start, pursued from the five path and failed to menace. PROBLEM KID bumped with an inner foe at the start, vied two wide and between horses, but checked back at the three furlong pole and weakened. SURE THING SAMURAI broke a step slow and was bumped between horses at the start, lagged behind while kept in the center of the track and showed little. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
