Chart notes
HARTFUL HOPE urged early to prompt the pace down the backstretch, rallied to the lead from three wide on the turn, opened a clear lead turning for home and drew off through the lane while in hand late. KINGDOM QUEEN broke slow giving the field a couple lengths, rallied midway on the turn in an early drive, was unable to gain on the winner and finished willingly as second best. MALICED trailed to upper stretch going evenly and was along for the show in the lane passing the tiring pacesetter. EPICUREAN set the early pace on a clear lead, had no response when challenged midway on the turn and steadily faded to the rear of the field in the lane.
