Chart notes
DUO reserved off the pace for the first five-eighths, rallied circling on the turn to engage the leader in upper stretch, lugged-in continuously through the lane despite all attempts by rider, eventually bumped the runner-up against the rail at the sixteenth pole and straightened away in the final fifty yards to draw away. DRILL'S BOY stalked the pace down the backside, rallied three wide to duel for the lead through the turn, took command turning for home, battled with the winner down the lane, was bumped by the lugging-in winner near the sixteenth pole needing to be taken up along the fence and continued on willingly when clear. MOONSHINE JOE unhurried for the first half mile to be the trailer, commenced a rally midway on the final turn and showed good late interest to gain the show. DUSTY BILLY tracked the leaders from mid-pack to the far turn, rallied angling out five wide turning for home and lacked a closing response. FORT GRANDE prompted the pace to the final turn, rallied between rivals to take a brief lead nearing the quarter pole and weakened turning for home unable to sustain the bid. WHO CAN'T WAIT set the pace for a half and came up empty when called upon on the turn. WHY KENNY WHY passed tiring rivals in the lane without impact. BOBBY ROB chased the pace for five-eighths and faded. SEEKING FREEDOM raced mid-pack for a half and steadily dropped back never posing a threat.
