Chart notes
GRAND JOB set the pace in the two path and drew off handily. DORTH VADER broke out and slammed into GALLOP D'HERMES at the start, stalked the pace in the two path, bid in upper stretch, was no match for the winner but stayed on well to gain the place. DREAM CONCERT pressed the winner in the three path, could not keep pace in upper stretch but kept on for the show. MILES OF SMILES prompted the pace in the four path and tired in the drive. GALLOP D'HERMES was pinched back at the start, saved ground and never threatened. UPHILL DANCE bumped hard at the start, saved ground and made little further impact. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START AND TOOK NO ACTION.
