Chart notes
ZIPPY MARK vied up front while between horses just under a half, dueled into the stretch, shook clear when straightened for home, kicked well clear. KONTEEKEE fell bac to trail after the start, began to advance late in the turn, swung out four to five wide turning for home, set down and rallied well out in the strip to be up for the place. ORE MINE broke on top, with the pace three wide for a half, dueled into the lane, weakened gradually through the lane, caught late for the place. GLOBAL LEGEND in the second flight while racing outside, four wide exiting the turn, lacked a closing kick. EPIC BATTLE in the second group while between horses for four furlongs, came up empty for the drive. PENROD in the second flight while along the inside, angled around a tiring rival while leaving the turn, weakened through the stretch. LEVEE WAS DRY flashed brief speed while racing along the inside, gave way turning into the stretch.
