Chart notes
GRACIE'S BIG DAY stalked two wide into the turn then found the rail, tipped out at the top of the lane, drew alongside THIRSTY TRICKSTER at the sixteenth pole and drove past nearing the wire. THIRSTY TRICKSTER pressed three deep up the backstretch, dueled in the three path late on the bend, put CIOPPINA PASADINA away in upper stretch, threatened by the winner at the sixteenth pole and yielded grudgingly late. LIQUID SPIRIT hopped a bit leaving the gate, raced in range widest in the early going, cut in entering the turn, chased two to three wide around the bend and gained third. THIRSTY DESTINY trailed next to the fence into the turn, moved into the two path briefly then came back to the rail on the turn, swung out late on the bend and improved position. CIOPPINA PASADINA dueled from inside up the backstretch, inched ahead on the turn, lost command leaving the bend, yielded in upper stretch and weakened. BROADWAY VENUS dueled for the lead outside CIOPPINA PASADINA to the turn, fought between rivals around the bend, could not keep up with a quarter mile remaining and wakened in the drive.
