Chart notes
IL BELLATOR prompted the pace from outside, kept the pressure on through the far turn, took over into the lane, disposed of BARTHOLDY in upper stretch and was kept busy to the wire. BARTHOLDY set the pace under pressure from II BELLATOR, resisted to the quarter pole, relinquished the lead leaving the far turn, stayed on through the final furlong and secure the place honors. PRINCESS OF TIME raced up close outside the top pair, followed in the three path through the far turn and finished evenly late. AMERICAN ADMIRAL chased five deep around the clubhouse turn, stayed out wide up the backstretch, spun five wide into the lane, kept trying under right handed encouragement but needed to find more. SEE THROUGH IT broke a step slow, stalked from inside, chased a bit off the rail on the far turn and lacked a bid. COWBOY MIKE stalked four deep to the far turn, got put in tight entering the lane and weakened. BARELY FUNTIONAL tracked in the two path outside a rival, fell back to last on the far turn and weakened.
