Chart notes
FORREST CITY , alertly taken to the inner rail entering the first turn, remained along the rail under patient handling, eased out approaching the stretch, was floated five wide in upper stretch, hooked ADMIT NOTHING near the sixteenth pole and narrowly prevailed. ADMIT NOTHING , three wide the first turn, advanced to gain the lead in the two path mid way on the far turn, was challenged by the winner in the drive and dug in tenaciously to just miss. ASCENDANCE stalked the pace for six furlongs, swung to the four path in upper stretch and lacked the necessary response. EARL OF DASSEL lacked speed, advanced three deep on the far turn, challenged for the lead entering the stretch, battled to the eighth pole then weakened. GET LIKE MIKE set the pace along the inner rail, lost the lead on the far turn and faded through the stretch.
