Chart notes

BANISHING in the second flight while three wide into the first turn, joined the leader soon after, helped set some lively fractions, continued to duel on the outside into the stretch, displayed some good resolve to the wire to be edging away late. SAUDI CROWN broke sharp from the outside, showed the way into the first turn in the two path, dueled through those quick fractions up the backstretch and into the far turn, continued to race on equal terms with the winner to the stretch inside that rival, outgunned late while far clear of the others. THE WINE STEWARD chased the top two along the inside early, moved out three wide second bend, had nothing for that pair in the drive, fully extended to hold the show. DIMATIC fell back to trail after the start, steered out three wide late in the final turn, gaining for the show, also not a threat to the top two. JUST STEEL went one paced while off the inside, failed to muster a response in the drive. I'M MCDREAMY settled off the pace while toward the rail, had nothing for the drive.
