GWYNETH'S MALIBU settled comfortably forward with the tracking group then went after ATLANTIC STORM after passing the half, had aim on that on at the top of the stretch but found that rival resurgent, continued to pursue relentlessly down the lane and got up in the last jump. ATLANTIC STORM sprinted away from the gate and went well clear early, maintained the big margin to the far turn, was taken on by GWYNETH'S MALIBU at the head of the stretch, held that foe at bay to the last jump. GOLDEN PURSUIT near the back early then advanced three wide approaching the far turn, was starting to make a forward move when forced to steady at the half, re-gathered and made a sustained run through the far tun and into the stretch to gain third. TRADE TRAVELER raced mid-pack through the early stages, the finished under heavy right handed urging to gain and hold the fourth position. WITHERING GAZE was last into the first turn, kept to task and passed tired ones to improve. EXPAT was allowed to settle from the break, kept to the inside, passed a few late while never a factor. FIST BUMP RIDGE settled near the rear through the early stages, moved out to the two path down the backstretch and lacked a rally. WITT'S RINGER got good forward position into the first turn, the ceded the lead to ATLANTIC STORM settling several lengths behind to the half-mile, started to weaken at that point and was not a factor in the late stages. MISCHIEF MAC got caught three wide through the first turn then tracked close up with the second flight, started to fade after passing the half-mile pole and had nothing to offer late.
