Chart notes
DIVINE LEADER quickly moved to the lead, soon moved clear dictating terms up the backstretch off the fence, was given some rein midway on the turn, drew clear in upper- to mid-stretch under more stout urging, held safe. CRUISING DEREK tracked from inside, saved ground on the turn, came out in upper- to mid-stretch, held place while no real threat to the winner. OSPREY lacked early speed, advanced on the turn, fanned seven wide into upper stretch, gained some late but needed more. KITTY HAWK chased from outside going four wide on the turn, ran on in the stretch. CANTARO was devoid of early speed, shifted eight wide by upper stretch, kicked on mildly outside. CONSPIRACY FACT was held up in behind the leaders racing off the inside, angled in seeking room nearing the furlong grounds, ran on. SECRET EMPIRE chased from between runners three wide, asked for more by the five-sixteenths, failed to rally. SAN COSTANTINO chased from outside, went five wide on the turn, faded.
