WILLIE CAT was on the pace inside ORO to upper stretch, dug in to keep that rival at bay then held safe late VALIANT WEST made a late surge. VALIANT WEST stalked the pace two and three wide in good position, bid into the far turn, reached the leaders turning for home and went well but was denied. ORO forced the pace outside the winner to upper stretch and came up empty in the drive. MORE THAN EASY was three wide to the far turn, moved inside to make a mild bid nearing the lane but could not produce the needed late run. WATER TESTER followed the pace four wide and weakened. PRINTS MONEY trailed. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time available.
