Chart notes
LIBERATE broke in front, set all the pace and widened through the stretch under strong handling to win as much the best. UPTOWN broke a step slow, rushed to contention inside rivals, shifted out in upper stretch, rallied determinedly three wide in the late stages and got up for second. ELLIOT THE DRAGON pressured the winner along the inside and was outfinished for second. QUIET AMIGO chased the early pace three wide, inched closer on the turn then failed to sustain that bid. HITE failed to menace. IT'SGOODTOBESEEN was no factor. BISCUITS AND GRITS was no threat. RED HEAD KID had good early speed four wide and was through after a half.
