Chart notes
FLYING GOLD JESS sent to assume early command, showed good speed to the turn, drew clear at the quarter pole, kept to task while clear into the lane and held sway late as much the best. MS FERRARI DIABLO chased the early pace from the inside, tipped two wide at the quarter pole, ran in pursuit of the winner into the stretch, was no match for the winner into the late stages and stayed on to best the rest. WEDDING GROOM off slow, settled while saving ground early, closed into the stretch and got up in time for the show. DANZ AT COLFAX bit tight in the early stages, saved ground while tracking the pace to the quarter pole, tipped two wide into upper stretch, was outkicked in the lane and just missed for the show. DOC PEPPER off slow, settled two to three wide, lacked the needed late response then passed tiring rivals late. DISCREET TIGER shuffled back into the turn, chased four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, swung widest for the stretch drive then failed to threaten in the late stages. GOTTA POP HERO chased the early pace three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, could not keep pace into the stretch then gave way in the final furlong. FLASH TO MOON raced in tight while close up and between runners early on, chased two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, lost position into the stretch then weakened late.
