Chart notes
EDDIEMUSH raced off the pace, advanced at the quarter pole, commenced a rail rally at the furlong marker, closed willingly in the final sixteenth and was up late for the win. PARDSY dueled two wide for the lead, dueled on the turn, battled heads apart with ALMOND CIDER through the stretch drive, drifted out at the sixteenth marker brushing that rival and dug in gamely to the finish. ALMOND CIDER chased four wide early on, bid three wide on the turn, dueled outside of PARDSY in the stretch run, was brushed and floated out some at the sixteenth marker, then dug in to the finish. HIDDEN PROMISE bobbled and was off slowly, outrun early, came four wide into the lane, rallied mildly between horses and got fourth. COUSIN ANDREW broke a step slow, outrun early, closed belatedly and was outkicked for fourth. SIR CUPID raced off the pace inside and failed to threaten. CAPTAIN CHAZZ dueled inside for the early lead, then chased, drifted out at the quarter pole and tired. PRESSING CONCERN chased three wide, chased on the turn, was floated wide at the quarter pole and gave way. After a Stewards' Inquiry and Jockey Objection, PARDSY was disqualified and placed third for interference in the stretch run.
