Chart notes
INXPRESS was forwardly placed three deep in the opening stages, continued to give chase three wide around the far turn, bid four deep in upper stretch, put a head in front and drew clear in the final sixteenth under hand urging. KAZAMATAZ was off slow to begin, trailed in the two path early, lacked room behind rivals on the backstretch, angled out to the for path for clear sailing, chased three wide into the lane, finished well down the stretch and gained second. FLATTERMEINCOURT stalked between rivals, got put in tight and moved to the inside, went outside a rival on the backstretch, launched a bid along the fence into the lane, fought with the winner to midstretch, was no match late and lost the place honors. C'S LILLY DANCER got bumped from outside leaving the gate, unhurried after and found the rail, dropped back to last on the far turn, tipped two wide to pass a horse late on the bend, summoned a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. EXPECT LOVE broke in and bumped, pulled badly three deep then in the two path, pressed three deep on the backstretch then outside the leader on the far turn, led briefly in upper stretch but was quickly overtaken by the winner and weakened in the furlong grounds. CASHOUT CAROL pressed the pace from outside, took over in the middle stages, held a short lead through the far turn, lost command in upper stretch, brushed by EXPECT LOVE at the eighth pole and weakened. SAPELLO STREAKER broke inward, stalked from inside, got shuffled behind a rival at the three-eighths pole, tipped two wide into the clear, moved back inside around the far turn and lacked a rally. IT COULD HAPPEN broke out and was quickly corrected, angled to the inside racing towards the rear, traveled outside a rival on the backstretch, went three wide into the far turn, angled down to the inside and had little left for the stretch run. ELEGANT BELLA showed the way early from inside under pressure, lost command on the backstretch, dropped back on the far turn, tired and eased in the lane and walked off.
