Chart notes
RIESENBERG prompted the pace from four wide for the first three-quarter, engaged the pacesetter in upper stretch, was carried well out by that one to mid-stretch, continued to duel with the runner up while angling in through deep stretch and wore that one down to prevail in the final strides. IT'S LAST CALL set the pace on a clear, well measured lead to the top of the lane through pedestrian fractions, drifted out in upper stretch from the five to the ten path while battling to maintain the lead, angled back in inside the eighth pole and was out-finished late in the drive. RAGS SPECIAL was held up off heels nearing the three-quarter pole in traffic, settled off the front-runners down the backside to be mid-pack, circled five wide on the final turn to threaten, lost momentum in upper stretch when had to angle in off the drifting top pair and finished willingly in the lane while unable to reel in the leaders. MIDNITESTATEOFMIND was held up in tight quarters on the first turn, stalked the pace down the backside, lost positon on the far turn while racing along the inside, tipped out four wide for the drive and put in a mild bid in the lane. TABLOID CITY passed tiring rivals late. TRAP LINE reserved off the pace to race mid-pack down the backside, gained ground splitting rivals on the final bend and flattened out in the stretch. KLIMTSTER was never a threat. GAISGEACH prompted the early pace through the turn from four wide and steadily faded from contention.
