Chart notes
CHAPARRITA stalked in the four path, bid midway around the turn, took the lead while in the five path nearing the eighth pole, and inched clear in the final sixteenth. MAMASHAVNAHOTFLASH set the pace in the three path, was ridden in the two path around the turn, dug in while back in the three path in upper stretch, but yielded to an outer foe in the final sixteenth. SMART OKIE raced off the pace in the three path, floated out to the seven path while under a drive at the top of the lane, and kept on. PURE CONNECTION trailed inside early, floated out to the four path midway around the turn, but did not factor. SWEET ATTITUDE prompted the pace in the two path, but lost ground along the inside around the turn, and continued to weaken in the stretch. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
