Chart notes
STAGE LEFT tracked in the two path, was cued between foes midway around the turn, tried tipping out to the three path in upper stretch, altered back inside passing the eighth pole, and inched past an outer foe in the closing stages. LIGHTNING STRUCK pressed the pace in the three path, tipped out to the four path under a drive at the top of the stretch, ran on to take the lead just after the eighth pole, but was edged out in the final strides by an inner foe. MISTER CHAIRMAN set the pace inside, was cued midway around the turn, floated out to the three path in upper stretch, but yielded in the final sixteenth. FLY TO THE BANK chased in the four path, ranged up under a ride in the six path passing the quarter, but weakened in the stretch. EARS TO ME stalked in the four path, bid passing the quarter, but gaveway in the stretch. HIGHLY PERFECT trailed throughout.
