Chart notes
SPINNING PRIDE was reluctant to load, bumped with the horses to his inside at the break, settled off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the four path coming around the turn, drifted in mildly and bumped with GOOD TO BE PRINCE at the eighth pole and kicked clear. GOOD TO BE PRINCE bobbled leaving the gate and bumped with the horses to both sides, pressed the pace on the outside early, chased the leader from the three path around the bend, drifted out slightly and bumped with SPINNING PRIDE in the lane, taking up and getting squeezed back in the process, and chased on to the wire from there. CARAMBASO bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, recovered to lead the way on the inside through the opening quarter, navigated the turn from the two path and gave way in the final furlong. BETTER THAN GOOD bumped with the horses to either side at the break, tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the two path and faded in the lane. COOLTHING bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, raced off the pace on the outside through the early going, came around the turn in the three path and made no bid.
