Chart notes
STAR OF KODIAK raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path, began a bid entering the stretch and dueled to the wire to get up for the win late. IDEA MAN dueled on the inside through the opening quarter, saved ground around the bend and dug in gamely in the lane to narrowly miss. LORD GRANTHAM trailed the field through the early stages, navigated the turn from the two path, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late. JUSTICE ONCE bobbled slightly leaving the gate, raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and improved position in the lane. UNCAPTURED PULSE chased the leader up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path and faded in the stretch. FLYING SAMURAI raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the four path and made no bid. DRAGON DREW dueled on the outside early, continued to battle from the three path around the bend and tired in the lane.
