Chart notes
WATTS attended to the pace two to three wide, bid into upper stretch, battled to the final sixteenth then drew clear late. DESERT PUNK tracked the pace three wide to the turn, was caught in tight at the quarter marker, found room into the lane, was gaining late and held for the place. CHAMPS MONEY tracked the early pace outside of rivals, bid four then three wide into the stretch, rallied in the late stages and just missed for the place, while holding safely for the show. MICKEYS TRAIL broke slowly, improved position outside of rivals, bid five wide into the stretch and offered a mild late rally. WF FRANKLY MY DEAR set a prompted pace to the turn, led to the quarter pole, held foes at bay into the stretch then weakened late. LET EM RIP showed brief early speed, lost position along the turn, was eased through the stretch and walked off under his own power. GIMME MONEY tracked the early pace two wide and between runners, waited for racing room along the turn, chased into the stretch, lost action at the furlong marker and was transported off of the track via the equine ambulance.
