TORCH IS PASSED vied for the early lead in between rivals, then set a pressured pace two wide and dropped to the inside on the turn, shook clear and moved out in the lane while clear and remained clear to prove best, driving. LAZIO was reluctant to load, vied for the early lead in between rivals, rated back and moved out to make a three wide bid on the turn, kept on willingly but failed to gain late, second best. CARCONE was off a step slow, settled early, advanced three to four wide on the turn and had a mild late kick gaining the show award. TO MONARCH broke outwardly at the break, rushed up on the outside to vie for the lead and then pressed the winner while three to two wide on the turn and weakened in the drive. NOSTALGIA'S SMILE showed good early speed but checked by the seven sixteenths and fell back, two wide by the quarter pole and weakened. BUCCHERO'S DUDE showed good early speed and vied for the lead two wide, steadied by the seven sixteenths and moved to the inside on the turn and weakened.
