Chart notes
WMA MANILLA made the lead fairly easily then put some distance on the rest through the turn, came into the stretch still traveling well and responded to steady handling in the stretch to hold clear to the wire. WMA GETAWAY came way well, tracked three wide to the turn then ran on when asked on the turn, moved into the second position in the stretch and chased the winner to the finish. BURNING JEWELS broke a beat slow then rushed up into the early fray, gradually advanced through the turn, had some trouble changing leads in the stretch but finished well enough to gain third. RICH SAND broke a bit awkwardly, was roused to get back in contact with the field, steadied at the half-mile pole, lost momentum then was put into a drive three wide around the turn, raced mostly on the wrong lead through the stretch but managed to improve position. WMA MINUTE MAID broke best but ceded the lead to WMA MANILLA going into the turn, was under steady handling from the five-sixteenths marker then went flat late. SAND CRAFT broke inward at the start and was slow to get into stride, lost ground as the field went into the turn, tipped out three wide in the stretch and made up some ground late under urging after the race had been decided up front. FLYING J STORM broke with the pack but was unable to keep up early, held the rail position and was outrun. WMA WILD KISSES vied inside through the initial stages but faded back through the field on the turn and was not factor in the late stages. WMA BOLD SPIRIT was devoid of speed and dropped far behind early, continued to trail throughout and was never a factor.
