GRANDE got bumped at the start by SAND DEVIL who broke out a step, raced four then five wide through the first turn when caught outside that same rival, tipped six paths off the inside down the backstretch and began a steady advanced inside the nine-sixteenths, tucked three wide through the far turn bidding into prominence placed to urging three furlongs from home, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick to cut a bit into the winner's margin while clear for the place honors. PASSION RULES broke out a step at the start and had MCAFEE shy from it, raced four wide into the first turn and steadily tucked to the inside by midway, chased just off the inside and then along the inside down the backstretch before heading back to the two path through the far turn coming under a ride three furlongs from home, continued just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on through to the finish along for the show honors. CAPTAIN COOK coaxed from the start, raced just off the inside forwardly placed through the first turn, chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the two path half a mile from home and advanced on the leader, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch, got shaken off nearing the eighth pole and weakened in the late stages. MCAFEE shied at the start from PASSION RULES, who broke in a step, chased along the inside coming under a ride at the three-eighths marker, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. SAND DEVIL broke out at the start bumping GRANDE, raced four wide through the first turn, chased four then two wide coming under urging three furlongs from home, tipped five wide at the top of the stretch and tired. TIGER TWENTY FOUR just off the inside through the first turn, chased three then two wide coming under prolonged coaxing from the half mile pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. STATESMAN five wide into the first turn, tucked three wide through that bend before chasing four wide down the backstretch and through the far turn under urging from the seven-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch and tired. OMAHA OMAHA chased two then three wide ridden along from the seven-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch, tired in the drive. MY MITOLE coaxed from the gate, raced three wide through the first turn, chased five then four wide under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, swung four wide for home and faltered in the stretch.
