CODE ONE showed speed inside WAR IS HELL early to dispute the pace, edged clear into the lane and drew away under steady handling. WAR IS HELL came in after the break to bump a rival, soon challenged outside the winner on the lead then could not go with that one late. P R CALL ME MAYBE bumped with a rival at the start, was angled three wide going up the backstretch to bid into the far turn but could not sustain the effort. ACCEL JOE chased the pace three wide and weakened. ROWDY GALE was bumped between rivals at the start and trailed.
