Chart notes

SUMITUP showed the most early speed to gain inside position going to the first turn, was challenged by AUNT IRENE into the far turn, shook off that foe and drew off in the lane under steady handling. AUNT IRENE moved three to bid outside the winner into the far turn but could not go with that one in the lane. BETTY JO stalked the leaders three and four wide, moved inside entering the far turn and continued on make a mild bid but could not run down the place horse. GOTTEMINABIND saved ground to late backstretch, angled three wide in the far turn and lacked a final closing run. JACKIE FLASH failed to mount a bid three wide. DOMITIA LUCILLA saved ground and was not a factor. FESSY was always back three wide. TU ROYAL chased the pace from three or four wide and tired. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time available.
