Chart notes
ST. OLAF ROSE prompted the pace in the five path, bid in the four path midway around the turn, took the lead at the top of the lane, drew clear nearing the final sixteenth, and held sway. PUCKERED trailed in the four path, fanned out to the eight path turning into the stretch, and rallied outside of foes for place. MAJOR PRYCE was unprepared as the gates opened, rated along the inside, improved from the rail rounding the turn, angled out to the five path passing the eighth pole, but evened out for show. IT'S ONLY WORDS chased in the two path, ranged up under coaxing in the five path around the turn, but flattened from the six path in the final furlong. BOTH SIDES bumped with an outer foe at the start, set the pace in the three path, was challenged while in the two path midway around the turn, and yielded down the lane. SONNY'S GOLDENLADY bumped with an inner foe at the start, pressed between foes in the four path early but gaveway in the three path around the turn.
