Chart notes
RICHLY DESERVED tracked in the three path, was driven around the far turn, bid while swinging out to the six path turning into the lane, took the lead going by the eighth pole, and inched clear. AMJAAD chased in the four path, moved up passing the half, bid in the three path going into the far turn, bumped with an inner foe while being floated out to the five path at the top of the lane, kept on between foes down the lane, but was second best. DE LA CRUZ raced up close in the three path, bid between foes in the two path going into the far turn, led passing the quarter, bumped with an outer foe while tipping out to the four path at the top of the stretch, dug in while staying on his left lead, but faded in the final sixteenth. TRIP ACES set the pace in the two path, lost the lead along the inside midway around the far turn, and weakened. MIDNIGHT MAESTRO raced off the pace in the two path, was driven along the inside into the far turn, floated out to the seven path at the top of the lane, but did not threaten.
