Chart notes
MAYBELLY came away well and contested the early pace from between horses, edged ahead going into the turn then started to open up under a hand ride passing the quarter pole, went clear in the stretch then got a little short near the finish but held off a mild challenge from a rival on the outside. GLITTERS ANDIE hustled from the start and vied inside early, backed out of the developing speed duel then rebid from the five-sixteenths pole, finished well and was getting to the tiring leader late but came up short. ISOBELA was out run early and trailed far back through the early stages, launched a rally with three furlongs to run, came off the rail from the turn to bid three wide into the stretch and finished with good energy, was gaining rapidly on the leaders to the wire but ran out of time. MUCHO VAPOR broke well but eased back off the pace battle, got stuck four wide into the turn then loomed four wide at the top of the stretch but went flat and was unable muster a winning kick. DOC'S DELIGHT broke well and was three wide in the early pace scramble, made a run at the eventual winner approaching the quarter pole but did not go on and finished evenly under late urging. CHARMING LEAH broke well and was up with the early leaders, tracked close up in cover to the turn, cornered three wide but lacked the needed response in the drive. JAMIE ZEE hopped at the start, then was hard to place in the run down the backstretch, lost interest on the turn and was not a factor in the late stages.
