Chart notes
NAMELESS raced up close outside the pacesetter, dueled around the far turn, put away HAPPDY DOES outside the eighth pole and held off DARK MARCUS in the final strides. DARK MARCUS stalked from inside, angled three wide on the far turn, came with a late run and was gaining to the wire but ran out of ground. HAPPY DOES grabbed the early lead and set the pace on the inside, took pressure from NAMELESS in the middle stages, dueled around the far turn, lost command in upper stretch, yielded to the winner with a furlong remaining and flattened to third. BIG BET stalked in the four path outside rivals, chased three deep up the backstretch, remained three wide on the far turn and weakened in the drive. ABADON stalked three wide early, between foes on the backstretch, angled to the rail on the far turn and weakened. CONTRARY CHIEFTAIN checked off heels in the two path on the first turn, trailed on the inside into the far turn, angled out around the bend, spun five wide into the lane and had little left for the drive. LOVE CANDY tracked three deep then four wide leaving the first turn, ridden along off the pace in the middle stages, exited the backstretch in the two path, moved to the rail around the bend, chased two wide into the lane and tired.
