Chart notes
HAGRID'S FLAME settled inside, bid at the quarter pole, came out under a left handed whip crowding rival near the sixteenth pole and moved clear again. IRA THE ICON prompted the pace outside, led narrowly on the final turn, was crowded late and steadied then continued well. MEGA CHARLIE hustled to clear advantage for five furlongs, was hooked by pair of rivals from both sides and weakened. ASSEMBLY POINT (BRZ) stalked the pace three wide then flattened out in the stretch. SUPREME BEING trailed far behind then caught fading rivals. PRINCE OF CHILL broke a step slowly, was in tight into the first turn, chased wide and gave way. MODICA broke slowly then began stopping after half a mile. Following a stewards inquiry and an objection by the second finisher against the winner for interference in the stretch, HAGRID'S FLAME was disqualified and placed second.
