Chart notes
COUNTERSPY set the pace on the inside racing with a length advantage, responded when roused at the quarter pole, drew clear under urging and was kept to the task in the final sixteenth. IRISH CORK raced off the pace, moved up three wide at the quarter pole, rallied outside in the stretch drive and finished well for the place spot. OFFALY COOL raced four wide early, pulled some on the clubhouse turn, settled off the rail, off the pace, moved up three wide on the far turn, rallied and was outkicked for second. ADERO stalked the pace, raced three wide on the backside, chased two wide on the far turn, made a bid at the quarter pole and weakened in the lane. LONESOME BOY tracked on the inside, chased inside on the far turn and weakened. TEN GAUGE stalked outside, raced two wide on the backside, chased on the far turn and tired.
