Chart notes
LOOPY easily gained the early lead, led the field through the early stages by a comfortable margin, was confidently ridden through the far turn and never asked until getting shake of the reins with a furlong to run and held sway to the finish. YOGYA came away in good order, settled inside through the first turn, was always close up, made a run at the leader with just over a quarter mile to run, finished well but proved no match for the winner but easily held the place. ENGLISH DANGER settled inside mid-pack to the far turn, finished with some energy but could not get to the top pair. FOREST ACCLAMATION went three wide into the first turn, got to the rail for the backstretch run, had only one beaten going into the far turn, made a mild bid up the rail to improve. GOLDEN GOPHER was last early, trailed to the stretch, kept to task late and passed a couple in the stretch. DERRYGOOLIN settled in the middle of the pack through the early stages, launched a three to four wide bid on the far turn but could not provide a response. BOURBON TIGER was rank and hard to place into the first turn, settled down and tracked the pacesetter to the far turn, gave way at the quarter pole and faltered in the stretch.
