Chart notes
BOURBON WISDOM raced wide through the first turn to gain a tracking position down the backstretch, commenced a steady rally leaving the three-eighths pole from four wide, found his best stride in the lane to reel in the pacesetter inside the eighth pole and pulled clear late in the drive. ONLY GET'N BETTER unhurried in the early going to be off the pace while saving ground, angled out to the clear in upper stretch and rallied mildly to be along for the place. GOLD BUCKLE set the pace on a clear, well rated lead to the top of the lane and tired in the final eighth. INHERENT POWERS went evenly without impact. ROYAL AIR FORCE drifted out on the first bend to race at the back of the field in the clear and never posed a threat failing to mount a bid. SMALL SAILOR prompted the pace to the quarter pole and faded from contention down the lane.
