Chart notes
CREOLE CHARLIE pressed the pace, moved up on the outside around the turn, drove clear down the lane and finished well. MILITARY BEARING lacked early speed, made a steady gain, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. BOBBY BOY showed early speed, saved ground around the turn, raced close throughout and missed second. MOR JAZZ pressed the pace, racing between rivals around the turn and lacked a late kick. BAY BAYBE raced in the middle of the field, put forth an even effort, finished wide and lacked a bid. GLOBAL PRIDE lacked early speed, moved up, but was no factor. THE SPEEDY ONE raced near the back in the beginning, improved position, but was no threat. ALLEVA raced near the rear in the early part, finished wide and was never close. SLITHER raced in the middle of the pack, dropped back and was outrun. HALF FULL went to the front, drove clear and was finished early. FLAT OUT RUNNER always raced near the back and showed little. HALF MAGIC lacked early speed, came around the turn on the outside and showed little.
