Chart notes
ASTHECOLDWINDBLOWS broke a step slow, made a steady gain, came around the turn on the outside and drove clear before the wire. MY FIRST DEAL raced within striking distance, saved ground around the turn, made a rail bid and was a clear second at the wire. DEELITESANDIMSUM raced near middle of field, came around the turn on the outside, made a late gain, but proved no match for the top two. SILENT RULER pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout and weakened. CHARLES BODIE raced within contention, eased back and finished evenly. STEVE'S TROUBLE void of early speed, improved position, but was no factor. FLAT OUT FITZ showed early speed, saved ground around the turn and faded. MUSICAL BAND raced evenly near the back and showed little. HE'S READY TO WIN shot to the front, drove clear, saved ground and was finished early. SAILOR DE ACES broke a step slow, came around the turn on the outside and was never close.
