STEAUXLIT raced within striking distance, moved up on the outside around the turn, made a wide bid and proved the best late. TOP PRIORITY vied for the early advantage, drove clear, but proved no match late for the winner, but held on for second. VIOLENT RIVER lacked early speed, made a steady gain and was outfinished for second. WILLIAM GUSTAVO raced near the back in the beginning, made a steady gain, rail bid late, but was no real factor. MATZOH BALL came out at the start, vied for the early advantage, saved ground and faded. MALIBU BRAD raced in the middle of the field, put forth an even effort, finished wide and lacked a bid.
