Chart notes
SIR ELI dueled on the pace from inside rivals, edged clear into the lane and increased the margin to the end. TOP OF THE ROCK dueled outside the winner then from between rivals in the far turn and could not match strides nearing the lane. OPTIMAL moved four wide to bid into the far turn then came up empty nearing the lane. OUTRIGHT moved up three and four wide but could not threaten. OBVIOUSLY TOO was along the inside and lacked a rally. KO SAMUI (IRE) moved inside but was not a factor. HANGIN' TUFF was not a threat. SCOOTER'S BOY was always back. WESTERN TOURIST pulled up going to the far turn and was transported by equine ambulance. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
