Chart notes
BOLT TO RUN bumped with an inner foe at the start, was unhurried along inside, came under coaxing going into the far turn, had to steady turning into the lane, angled out to the eight path, and rallied in the final furlong to be up in the final strides. IMPERATUS rated inside, waited around the far turn before angling out passing the quarter, swung from the six path into the stretch, and ran on but was edged out by an outer foe. FOUNTAIN RUN tracked in the two path, was cued from the rail midway around the far turn, tipped out to the three path at the top of the lane, kept on to lead passing the eighth pole, but was caught by an outer pair in the closing stages. VOLATILE STORM stalked in the four path but was one paced in the five path down the stretch. RASHID raced in midpack in the three path, was roused midway around the far turn, swung out to the seven path turning into the lane, and finished evenly. MAKTUB bumped with an outer foe at the start, then steadied leaving the first turn, was wellback in the three path, floated out to the seven path turning into the stretch, but made no impact. FINAL DATA set the pace inside, was cued midway around the far turn, but yielded in the final furlong. MIDNIGHT BOSS pressed the pace in the three path but gaveway in the stretch. HELICOPTER had a slow start and always trailed. OBJECTIONS LODGED BY THE RIDERS OF MAKTUB AND IMPERATUS FOR INTERFERENCE TURNING INTO THE STRETCH AGAINST THE RIDER OF BOLT TO RUN WAS DISALLOWED.
