Chart notes
NO CENTS broke slowly, rushed up along the inner rail to take the lead leaving the backstretch, set the pace near the inner rail, drifted out a bit in upper stretch, was always clear and steadily drifted out the final sixteenth. TALENTED MAN , two wide on the turn, chased the winner through the stretch and drifted out late. BUMP N RUN , well placed around the turn, raced in the four path in upper stretch, drifted out following TALENTED MAN in mid stretch and gained late. MURRAY lacked speed, swung out turning for home, was fanned to the seven path in mid stretch and passed tired foes. ON THE MARK raced in the three path leaving the turn, was between horses in upper stretch and failed to rally after being floated out in mid stretch. SHERIFF RONNIE , four deep on the turn, lacked a rally. O'CONNER SUNSET stayed along the inner rail most of the race and was outrun. An objection by the rider of ON THE MARK against BUMP N RUN for alleged interference near the eighth pole was not allowed.
